Half Moon was a softpaw when Jaypaw emerged from the tunnels as the ancient cat Jay’s Wing. Jaypaw was the surprised by the strength of emotions he felt from the young she-cat, but he soon found himself returning them, feeling a fiercer love for the ancient cat than he could have ever imagined. He soon had to leave her behind to return to his own Clan – but love like this is not so easily left in the past, and Jayfeather may one day learn that fate has more in store for him and the brave and loving she-cat that time divided him from.
