Forced to retire from warrior life early due to asthma, Nightpelt itched for a way to prove himself to a Clan that seemed to dismiss him for his perceived shortcomings. When the elders were forced into exile, Nightpelt protected them with the ferocity of a father, and when Brokenstar became too cruel a leader to tolerate, he helped lead the charge against his own leader. Nightpelt’s Clanmates chose him to lead them once Brokenstar was driven away. But will Nightstar truly be able to rise and become the leader his Clan needs?
