For as long as she can remember, Moonpaw has heard a voice. In her kithood, the voice was like a friend, a presence to make up for the loneliness of being an only kit. In her early apprenticeship, the voice became a nuisance, distracting her from her training. But annoyance quickly turns to fear as the voice begins to prove just how far she will go to get Moonpaw’s attention – and just how easily she can harm the cats in Moonpaw’s life.
